Girl's Flight #14

Because of the overwhelming interest, Son Coast Chrysalis has scheduled a second girl's flight. Saturday, May 24, 2008 through Monday, May 26, 2008 at Camp Kirkwood

It has been five years since Son Coast Chrysalis has had three flights in a year and the success of Flight #14 depends on you prayerful consideration of potential caterpillars. The deadline for a $25 registration discounts ends March 24th, so helps us plan this flight by sending your applications in as soon as possible.

Sponsor's

2008 flights will be held at Camp Kirkwood in Watha.  Sponsors should have their caterpillars at Kirkwood at 8:00 on Saturday morning and should bring their favorite snack food and a 2 liter drink. Don’t forget about letters! Closing will be at 5:00 pm on Monday at Burgaw UMC.

Remember if you are sponsoring a caterpillar to please have them bring:
sleeping bag
pillow
towel/face cloth
personal soap
other personal hygiene items
comfy inside clothes and sweater/coat
umbrella (optional)
flashlight (optional)
money for book table (optional)

Are you interested in volunteering for the upcoming Flights? Download the paper form please go over to the forms page to download your copy today to print out and mail, or e-mail us at Son Coast Chrysalis.

If you can serve behind the scenes, your help is greatly needed! Kirkwood has a wonderful Agape cabin and serving behind the scenes is a blast! If you are under 18 years old, please make sure to download a Volunteers Permission Slip, have it signed and bring it with you when you serve. Bring some money for meals-- $40 ought to cover it. Lodging is FREE at the “Big House.” If you plan to serve or have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Big House: This is where behind the scenes workers can sleep free! It is at Burgaw United Methodist Church. Bring a towel, sleeping bag, pillow and air mattress because the 5 star accommodations are on the floor! If you have questions, contact us.

Special Community Worship is  at 8:00 pm on Sunday night at Wesleyan Chapel UMC. Your light is needed there!
